The appointment of Top 50 law firm Jeeva Partnership in Kuala Lumpur and Penang continues the alliances growth in APAC. Which included expansion into China (Chance Bridge Partners), Bangladesh (Old Bailey Chambers), and Singapore (Advocatus – to be announced imminently).

Jeeva Partnership’s appointment meets the alliance’s need for a strong and dynamic legal presence in Malaysia. And complements the services provided by accounting member SKMN.

Founded 25 years ago by Managing Partner, Mr V. Jeevaretnam, Jeeva Partnership is a diverse, general commercial and litigation practice. It represents listed and non-listed companies and multinational corporations both locally and internationally. With some of their clients listed in the Forbes 500.

The firm’s key focus areas include cross-border transactions, employment law, dispute resolution, corporate law. And intellectual property, insolvency, admiralty and maritime law, commercial crime, and real estate.

The Partners, both alumni of London universities and are prominent lawyers in their field of practice. They have strong relationships with local businesses, government agencies and trade associations in Malaysia, and Indonesia. Along with Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar, Singapore, Cambodia and Laos. The firm is currently a member of the Commonwealth Law Association, International Trademark Association and ASEAN Intellectual Property Association.
