Fatima Zahra Ahasan Raisa is currently pursuing her Masters in Law (LL.M) in University of Chittagong (Bangladesh). She is involved in legal research and writing on contemporary issues pertaining to Women's Rights, Gender Equality, Public International Law and Constitutional Law. She works with NGOs, and student organisations to spread legal awareness programmes throughout the country. She regularly writes in the leading national and international blogs and dailies on legal issues. Besides, she has earned recognition in numerous national and international moot court competitions. She served as a Research Intern in Bangladesh Institute of Labour Studies (BILS) in the project 'Impact of COVID-19 on CNG Transport Workers'. Currently she has graduated from 8th Annual Winter School on 'Hatred, Violence and Prevention of Atrocities' organised by Centre for the Study of Genocide and Justice (CSGJ), Liberation War Museum. For her extraordinary contribution in field of research, she was awarded by NILS Bangladesh ( Bangladesh chapter of NILS, an international, independent, non-political, non-profit organisation run by and for law students).
