The Topic of the discussion revolves around the Regulation, Governance & Integrity of esports.

In December 2017, MahWengKwai & Associates (MWKA) launched an Esports Law Division within the firm's Sports Law Practice Group (SLPG). SLPG is led by Richard Wee, who was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1999. Among Richard's involvement in Sports Law include: 1) Organising and hosting an annual Sports Law Conference from 2013 - 2016; 2) Obtained the Sports Arbitration Certificate from the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (now known as the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC)); 3) Acknowledged by Legal 500 (2018) and the Asian Law Portal (2017) as an expert in Sports Law; 4) MWKA was acknowledged as the Best Boutique Law Firm for Sports Law Services by Asian Legal Business Journal in 2017; 5) MWKA was awarded the Sports Law Firm of the Year Award at the Asian Legal Business 5th Annual Malaysia Law Awards 2018; 6) A regular speaker on BFM 89.9 Radio speaking about Sports Law; 7) Invited to facilitate a round table on governance and regulation in esports at the Esports Asia Summit at Singapore in May 2018; 8) Invited to be a speaker at the "Sports Law Conference : Sports Disputes - Block & Tackle" organised by AIAC in September 2018 where he spoke on the legal issues in esports; 9) Conducts trainings and talks on Sports Law and Esports Law at the Bar and law schools. Last but not least, between 2011 – 2017, Richard Wee was an elected member of the Bar Council where he was the Secretary of the Malaysian Bar from 2013 – 2015.
