Olivia Kung (@oliviahykung), Associate Attorney at Hong Kong-based OLN law firm (@OldhamLiNie) and  Vice Chair of the Women Business Lawyers committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), will be a panel speaker representing Hong Kong at the organization 25th Annual Meeting and Conference this week in Hong Kong, May 6-9. The panel will focus on the topic. “How we can use the law to change the future for women in law?”

As OLN outlined on the firm’s website. Kung “will be joined on the panel by eminent female lawyers from firms in the UK, Australia, India, France, China and the Philippines.”

The Inter-Pacific Bar Association (“IPBA”) outlines on its website, that the IPBA is “an international association of business and commercial lawyers who live in. Or otherwise have a strong interest in, the Asia-Pacific Region (sometimes referred to as the “Region”). It was established in April 1991 at an organizing conference held in Tokyo. More than 500 lawyers from countries within the Asia-Pacific Region attended the event. Since then, it has grown to become the preeminent legal association in this Region, with membership drawn from throughout the world. Currently has over 1,400 members from over 65 jurisdictions worldwide.”
