The second annual Asia Law Firm Management Congress (ALFMC) will take place on April 12, 2018, at The St. Regis Hotel in Mumbai, India.
Following up on a successful inaugural event last year where over 70 lawyers and management professionals from law firms across the region gathered to share ideas and debate the future of the law firm model. The second edition promises more interesting debates and insights into the essence of managing a law firm successfully.
The conference is organised by IDEX Legal with lead partner Thomson Reuters supporting the event and will again bring together decision makers from top law firms from India, the Middle East and Asia, as well as leading speakers, consultants and solution providers from across the globe.
Given the rapidly evolving and competitive nature of the law firm market in India and surrounding regions. Developers created the ALFMC as a dedicated platform for lawyers to discuss best practice solutions to the law firm management challenge. Specific topics of discussion for 2018 will include:
- How the private equity mindset is disrupting the legal services model
- The future of legal services delivery
- Why the professionalised firm concept hasn’t taken off in India
- The launch and discussion on findings from the second edition of the India law firm benchmarking survey by IDEX legal
